Server Software:: 100% P2P (Without Central Catalog)
We discussed that will be difficult to use this technologies in an MMORPG with common rules.

Maybe could be an interesting example of how create 100% P2P network in Open Source.

Solipsis

However we have some questions without answere:

- how ensure integrity of exchange (without prohibited modifications)
- how check cheat in this system

- how be sure that all client softwares follow rules

etc...

Trust World Server and Client [by Kalden]

Server Software::[Idea Discussion] Trust World Server and Client
I discussed with raskar971 about how to trust about World Servers and Clients .

I remember to you that Central Server is the only one software that we directly manage.

Others are used by players. Problem is how can we trust in them.

One of solution is to use a trust system bu using PKI.

Definition:
Click on to see PKI definition

Process:

1- each player who want to play on time breach have to create a pgp couple of keys.

2- we have to define a trusted process to identify him and register his public key

3- player use this trusted key in client and world server softwares

4- each messages and signed and/or crypted with his own key

5- if we have a problem we can revoke his key

We have created a pki system. And we can define a trusted network.

Server Software:: Efficient model for managing dynamic game data
yes it's interesting...
I've you seen diagrams about entities?
It's the elements we think to keep in memory for dial between engines, and softwares.
You have to define the soundEntity class to be contained in entities.
